Fruits of my labor!!!

This is for my best friend, Tonya. To prove that I am doing my part. Of course, she has no doubts. But I am in charge of her invitations for her baby shower. Have I mentioned everything is a surprise? So I am going to be mean(i know this rarely happens), and I am going to tease her with just a tiny bit of an invite.

Easter at MDO!!!!

Carsyn with a "farmer" egg!
Here is Cooper, Carsyn, Cutter, Conner, Bunny, and Owen. Everyone is related except for Coop. Every year, one of the dads dresses up as the Easter Bunny. A vote was taken and next year is Clark's turn. You can imagine his response. Owen thought the Easter Bunny was the coolest thing. He waved and said bye, bye over and over.

Abbey and Owen. The sister he will never have!!!(notice the bunny tail in the back)

Cutter consuming a cupcake!
A broken arm waiting to happen.

Easter Madness

Check back for Easter pics from Cutter and Carsyn's Easter Party!

10 months old!

This post is two days late but by my standards these days, this is technically way early! When I went to take some pictures on Sunday, my camera would not work. Soooo my truck is in the shop, my camera is in the shop, my tooth is aching, and no laundry fairy has shown up to do all the laundry piling up at this joint. Things are just loverly! I said to a friend yesterday that I think someone put a hex on me. If you did and you are reading this, I have learned my lesson. Now please take it off!!!!!!

Now back to OWEN! You are 10 months old. You are something else I must say.
-You are into everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Drawers, cabinets, toilets!!! I think I finally have your brothers trained to close the bathroom door! YUCK!
-You are so ready to walk. You want me to walk you around all day chasing after your two older brothers.
-Your two favorite things right now are Elmo and horses.
-You say mama, dada, bubba, and dog(which really means cat). Not sure how we got you confused on that.
-You moo, baa, and click your tongue and bounce up and down like you are riding a horse when talking about these 3 things.
-You love big people food. You yell at us when we do not give you any.
-You dance when you hear music you really like.
-You love to swing in your new swing.
-You love to be outside with your brothers. And love to eat dirt.
-You still suck your two fingers. I have a feeling it's a habit we are gonna have to break like having a pacifier. Except I can't cut your fingers down a little at a time.
-You love cats.

Eating breakfast in your Superman pj's. That is my favorite memory. Cutter and Carsyn telling you at the hospital that you could be Superman and they would be Batman and Spiderman.
Your new swing. Your feet look huge in this picture! Always, always eating.

Crazy red hair!
This is a long story but basically Cutter and Carsyn crashed a "Hello Kitty" party of their MDO friend at the park on Sunday. The received a goody bag with these hello kitty sunglasses that they have worn everywhere. The other part of the story is that when I was about 1 or 2, my parents had my picture made in red heart shaped sunglasses. Owen looks a lot like that picture to me. I get told all the time he looks like me. Even though he does have his daddy's red hair and "moo cow" eyes. (Owen's pediatrician calls them 'moo cow" eyes.) We still cannot decided what color they are going to be. Sometimes they look brown, sometimes green, sometimes gray.

9 Months OLD!!!!!

Owen today you are 9 months old. Technically, you have been here as long as I was pregnant. You are so much fun! Today, Daddy broke out the inflatable jumper for your brothers and then put you on it during their time out. You LOVED it!

Some things you are doing at 9 months:

-Standing up every where.
-Crawling every where.
-Getting into every thing.
-Say bye, bye da da.
-Clap until you scare yourself.
-Eat any and all foods.
-Bounce up and down like you are riding a horse when you are playing with your horse jumper.
-Kick me to make me go like your brothers do their horses.
-Dance a little when music is turned on.
-Still a momma's boy but turn me down when you see your new friend.
-Love to play in your brother's room. Love to be with your brother's anywhere.
-Love to join in the wrestling with your brothers.
-Have started crawling to daddy and pulling on his pant legs to pick you up when he gets home from work.

Working hard to get up on the slide portion of the jumper.
This is GRRReatt!

Going to town! Momma realized this is like a huge play pen and you go and go and go and have no energy left when you get off. It makes you very tired.

Cutter and Carsyn received one last Christmas present in the mail yesterday. These are their new cowboy shirts. Now Carsyn has 4 shirts he is willing to wear. I am thankful! Can you tell a personality difference between these two boys? Carsyn has to be completely put together and look just right where as Cutter is just happy to wear whatever, however. Notice the chaps and belt buckle! Carsyn tried to fix it for him but that's just not Cutter's style.
On to this picture. Cutter and Carsyn love to help give Owen a bath. If I wasn't afraid of Owen getting under water, I probably could turn this job over to Cutter and Carsyn. They do a great job and I just have to say "Don't pour so much water over his head" a few times. Owen loves their attention. He has this full laugh that just puts the biggest smile on mine and Clark's faces. He even enjoys it when C&C squirt him in the face with his rubber ducky. So last night the big boys run out of the bathroom and then streak back in and literally just jump in with Owen. He thought it was great but it got a little too wild for momma. But not before catching this blackmail picture for the future.

Snow Day Feb 2010

Snow Ball Fight #1
Mommy and Big 0.

Cutter is sooo happy!

I'm not sure what Carsyn is doing here. Maybe a happy dance or I'm freezing dance.

Let's go back inside face!

Cutter catching snow. This is the greatest picture.

Bubba snow angels.

Watching Daddy show them how it's done.
